INTERVEW: Executive Producers & the Cast of Psych

February 27th, 2013

If you haven’t seen Psych, now is the time to start. Get on Netflix, buy the DVDs, whatever method you prefer, but it’s time. Entering it’s 7th Season tonight on USA, Psych doesn’t miss a beat. It’s still the same quirky, funny show that it’s always been. One of the things I’ve always loved about Psych is that the writers aren’t afraid to try a new style or find a new genre to spoof. The first few episodes of Season 7 are no exception. Tonight’s premiere is an emotional, action-packed follow-up to last season’s cliffhanger. It’s must-watch TV. So while you’re sitting on your couch, munching on some delicious pineapple and waiting for the episode to start, check out the scoop below from the Comic-Con 2012 press room with the cast and creators.

REVIEW: The Vampire Diaries “Stand By Me”

February 22nd, 2013

Peeps, I don’t know. I just don’t know. I kind of think this show is just getting too sad. Is that a thing? It’s got to be because seriously, it’s just too much. ‘Stand By Me’ is our latest episode of TVD, and as you may have guessed…it’s sad. Not even tear inducing though, just sort of numb sad.

VIDEO PREVIEW: Hart of Dixie: Zombies in Bluebell

February 15th, 2013

Zombies are coming to BlueBell! But not in a super creepy Walking Dead sort of way. Instead, it involves an adorable proposal with one of our favorite couples. Seriously, you are watching this show right? It’s like a ray of sunshine in my TV week. I want to live in BlueBell and attend all their town festivals. But I digress. Check out the video below for the Zombie invasion in BlueBell. It’s actually quite romantic…

REVIEW: The Vampire Diaries “Down The Rabbit Hole”

February 15th, 2013

Down the Rabbit Hole

‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ is our latest episode of TVD, and I’d say the ending theme song should be “My doppelganger is back, and there’s gonna be trouble (hey now, hey now…my doppelganger is back).” You know where this is going obvs.

So, like last week, our players are all in the same places. Klaus, Caroline, and Tyler are still in Mystic Falls. Bonnie, Jeremy, and the Professor are closest in the race to the Silas situation. Damon is with the other hunter, Galen. Rebekah, Stefan, and Elena are a tenuous little crew (that lasts about .7 seconds). There also is some other mystery person on the island. Gee, I wonder who it could be?!

5 Things to know about tonight’s Arrow “The Odyssey”

February 13th, 2013

The Odyssey

Arrow has been so consistently fantastic in its freshman season, and I am so excited it’s been picked up for a season two. I have especially loved the increased role of Felicity Smoak (played by the super talented newcomer Emily Bett Rickards). And good news for all the Felicity Smoak fans out there, she has been promoted to series regular for season two! But I digress. Tonight’s episode, “The Odyssey,” is about a piece of Oliver’s journey, like the title would suggest. Oliver is shot (as all the previews imply, so no big spoilers here) and he is unconscious for most of the episode (and shirtless, if you know, bloody gunshot wounds are your thing), which makes for an interesting look into his psyche.

REVIEW: The Vampire Diaries “Into the Wild”

February 8th, 2013

Yo peeps, ‘Into the Wild’ is our most recent episode of TVD. And I think it was good, really good.

The majority of this episode is sort of like a vampire-esque LOST situation. Meaning, they’re on an island. And peeps need to learn to live together or they’ll die alone. Heavy. So, the Professor is leading the gang to where the cure/Silas is. The gang includes Damon, Stefan, Rebekah, Elena, Bonnie, and Jeremy. Rebekah sees a use for everyone except for Elena…Damon’s use is his nice behind obvs. We finally also find out the heart of the Professor’s story. He apparently went on a quest for this place last year where he saw his dead witch wife (who died when she was trying to bring their son back to life) in the Silas well area. She’s the one who gave him all the info he needed for this raising Silas business. He really didn’t want to do it because of all the bloodshed and all, but she used her dead lady wiles and convinced him.
