I also have to say, I'm surprised Kings was ignored. Sure, it was brilliant but cancelled, but Emmy seems to like that these past few years in some of the majors. I'm looking at you Sebastian Stan.

I was never optimistic for Battlestar, though Tricia Helfer has been pretty much robbed every season. I doubt Caprica will fare better.

Kevin Dillon has been nominated twice before, but it was weird not to see Piven up there.

And I agree about Josh Schwartz. He is amazing and deserves some recognition! (And Leighton Meester is pretty great too)

As for BSG...poor Battlestar. I think there was hope that it would get a nod for the final season.

Is this Kevin Dillon's first nomination for Entourage? Usually Jeremy Piven gets an obligatory nomination.

I was also shocked about True Blood, particularly with Paquin's win at the Golden Globes. But then again, Emmy's never really been a fan of anything too genre.

Part of me wishes someone, somewhere, deep in Emmy HQ would stand up and say yes to the CW and Leighton Meester (or at least writer Josh Schwartz), and I don't care who knows it!

I forgot about True Blood...that's pretty surprising I agree...and Katherine Heigl.

I also noticed Zachary Levi from Chuck was left out, as well as Patricia Arquette for Medium (I don't watch much but I hear she's great).

I am completely shocked that Katherine Heigl didn't get nominated for Grey's Anatomy and no True Blood for best drama. I'm not a huge fan of True Blood but it has unanimous praise and 2 Golden Globes.
