The Originals really came into its own last season, and I’m excited to see what’s to come in season 2. One of my favorite characters since the beginning has been Davina — I’m a sucker for teenage angst, what can I say? I think she’s a powerful character with a lot of flaws but that’s what makes her so great. I recently had the chance to chat with The Originals cast at Comic Con and Danielle Campbell teased what’s to come for Davina in season 2, working with Charles Michael Davis and more. This year, I was lucky enough to get credentialed for Wired Cafe at Comic Con. I had been once in years prior, and it always offers a calm oasis away from the crazy SDCC storm. When you arrive there, there are tons of fun activities to do. This year, there was a caricaturist, a Game of Thrones virtual experience, personalized Wired Cafe bottle openers, MakerBot’s 3D printer demonstrations, and lots more. They had custom Game of Thrones beers as well as different flavors of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. There’s also free wi-fi and a nice, calm place to work.
