INTERVIEW: Ari Graynor (Meredith) from Bad Teacher

April 24th, 2014

New CBS comedy Bad Teacher, based on the movie of the same name, premieres tonight on CBS. It has an all-star cast of Ari Graynor, Ryan Hansen, Sara Gilbert and David Alan Grier. I have to say I was a fan of the Cameron Diaz movie and it seems like an interesting concept for a TV series. I got to sit down with star Ari Graynor and talk to her about what drew her to TV and the project, high school memories and more.

Private Lives of Nashville Wives

February 19th, 2014

Last week, I was invited to a “Girls Night Out” for TNT’s newest reality show, Private Lives of Nashville Wives and had the chance to speak with Jenny, Betty, and Ana, three of the cast members. All three of them hoped that this show will show the world a different side of Nashville. It’s not just a podunk, country town, but instead it’s a cosmopolitan city, full of music and culture. The ladies also emphasized that while there will of course be some drama, this show won’t be focused on it. Instead, the show will focus on the wives’ stories, businesses and what it really means to be a Nashville wife. Keep reading to learn a little more about the cast members and their interesting stories.

Thanksgiving may be over but I am still in vacation and shopping mode, and plan to stay there until the very last minute. My new Intel tablet was very helpful with Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping. I browsed different stores and lightning deals on Amazon very quickly as well as the usual tablet functions. I’m also really excited to take the Tablet out post-Thanksgiving and use its awesome camera. Check out a sample picture below and keep tuning in for more updates about my new tablet.

Intel Tablet Crew

December 3rd, 2013

Every so often, I get a great opportunity with this site. Recently, I was asked to join the Intel Tablet Crew and use an Intel tablet for writing, as a second screen and anything else I see fit. I am an iPad user myself, but I was incredibly interested to try out an Intel tablet. I like my tablets to be user-friendly, with capabilities to use Word Press, as well as watch screeners and other videos. So far, I’ve noticed that the screen is beautiful and I love the bluetooth keyboard. I look forward to exploring more, and sharing my experience with you.

NewGirl_S2New Girl is one of my favorite shows on TV right now, and it is consistently hilarious. Meanwhile, Schmidt fails to be hip, Winston isn’t “prepared” for a hot date, and Nick faces a death in his dysfunctional family. INTERVIEW: Inga Cadranel (Detective Deangelis) from Orphan Black

May 30th, 2013

Orphan Black is one of my favorite new TV shows. It completely took the TV world by storm, and I was surprised how much I loved it. If you haven’t seen it yet, BBC America is running a marathon all day Saturday. The premise is one that hasn’t been seen before. In the first five minutes of the pilot, Sarah witnesses someone walking into a train to kill herself. It turns out, the woman who killed herself was her clone, and Sarah decides to take over life. But Beth wasn’t the only clone, there are many more. Tatiana Maslany plays all the clones to perfection; I swear, you would think a different actress was playing all of the clones if you didn’t know. As the season has unfolded, we have learned more about the crazy lives these clones lead, but we still are far from knowing everything. Beth Childs (the woman who killed herself/who Sarah impersonated) was a police officer, and gets herself into some trouble. Enter Art and Detective Angela Deangelis, who are trying to make sense of the whole situation. I recently had the chance to talk to Inga Cadranel (who plays Angela) about her role, working with Tatiana and why the show has caught on so well.
