I wasn’t sure what to expect prior to watching the pilot, but I was pleasantly surprised. There’s magic, witches (at least we presume), and crazy happenstances but behind it all is a great concept. The three “witches” played by Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price and Jamie Ray Newman, are all charming. Their acting is refreshing and genuine. While the plot may be full of fantasy, the actresses keep the show grounded. The show also centers around friendship, and coming together to deal with real issues. I am interested to see how the show progresses, but I know I will definitely be watching in the fall. Sarah Rue and Paul Gross also star.
