I love Good Eats with Uncle Alton (Brown), but I have to say that his “Feasting On…” series might be the best thing Food Network has ever aired. EVER.
AIRED!!!

Oh wow, food Network is my favorite channel. I love so many of the shows and it is really hard to pick just one, so I would have to say Diners, Diners and Dives and Barefoot Contessa because I DVR every episode of both shows. I would so love to win this prize.

My favorite show is How to Boil Water because I was recently literally that bad at cooking. My New Year’s Resolution is to learn how to cook – I even bought the cookbook from the show (also called How to Boil Water), and it’s perfect: it assumes I know absolutely nothing about cooking. I have made huge improvements and my goal is to cook for myself at least once a week.

Both my boyfriend and I have been watching the worst cooks. I like it because he’s the chef and my skills are basic (reheating soup in the microwave). He turned me onto the show as a joke about my cooking skills and I love it because it turns out I am NOT the worst cook in America! Makes me feel better knowing that there are people out there that are worse cooks than I am.

My favorite show is Diners Driveins and Dives!
It has saved my diet by letting me watch Guy Fieri eat, enjoy, and comment on all the goodies I can’t imagine eating at this time.
My favorite episode had Guy trying to eat a Pigs Ear, and having trouble keeping it down let alone find something wonderful to say about it.
Awesome show.

Paula Deen is my one of my top two favorites! She has such a warm funny personality and cooks real people food (at least for us country people:) and she never takes herself too seriously! Couldn’t get anyone better!
My second favorite is Ace of Cakes, Duff and his awesome crew helped inspire me to challenge myself to make bigger and better 3d cakes and even start a small cake business with my friend! Thanks for this contest!!

I like the show with the three professional chefs who have to make three meals out of just a few main items. It seems impossible, yet they are successful most all the time. I only wish I could taste the resulting foods….they always look so good.

Shayna is and has been addicted to the food network for ever- I love alton brown, giatta(sp?!) and Ina G. too .We both love the ace of cakes show, and the one that has the history of foods (one episode was on the twinkie, another on whoopie pies…) I haven’t heard of this new series before, and I hope neither of my girls hears of it because they will sign me up so fast my head will spin! You see, winning this prize would really be a gift to Shayna, because with some good and simple recipes, she wouldn’t yell at me when I put dinner on the table. You remember when she would yell out in the movie theater because she was thirsty- that she was going to turn into dust and crumble and die…?…She still whines at me like that when I serve her food that she swears will make her sick and it will be all my fault if she throws up on the table…I don’t mean to make gross things or burn everything, I’m just extra talented in that way!
