American Horror Story sufficiently creeped me out last season, with crazy twists and turns and a murder house and things I am still trying to wrap my head around. It’s original, fascinating and scary. So I am very excited to offer this great giveaway. Meet the Ghosts of American Horror Story Season 1
Larry Harvey – Denis O’Hare
Larry appears to Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott) early in the season, and with a burned and distorted appearance, Ben is immediately taken aback. It’s not until later that the audience learns exactly how Larry has come to be with no family and with his scars. O’Hare also starred in HBO’s True Blood as the evil Russell Edgington and played Judge Charles Abernathy on The Good Wife.
Larry: I’m trying very hard not to judge you.
Ben: Me? You murdered your entire family!
Larry: Yes, but I was never unfaithful.
Moira O’Hara – Frances Conroy
Moira is an enigmatic ghost of the Harmon household. Played by Conroy, Moira is an older housemaid ready to help the family in any way she can. However, to Ben’s wandering eye, she appears to be the sexy and sultry Moira (played by the red-headed Alexandra Breckenridge). A constant throughout the season, Vivien Harmon (Connie Britton) often confides in the maid and takes her bizarre advice, including eating animal brains.
Moira: I’ll get the shovel. You get the bleach.
Hayden McClaine – Kate Mara
Hayden starts the show in motion when she has an affair with married Ben and forces him to move his family far away for a fresh start. When she turns up on his lawn, pregnant and refusing to go away, Larry hits her with a shovel and buries her out back, but that is not the last of the unstable Hayden. Mara has been featured in other hot TV shows like Nip/Tuck and 24 and is the sister to Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo).
Hayden: I am *not* a whore, Ben! I matter! I *MATTER*!
Chad Warwick – Zachary Quinto
Chad and his boyfriend spent some time in the house before their demise before a Halloween party and after they had a huge fight. The infamous rubber suit was brought into the house after the two were working to spice up their relationship and was left there after their murder. But the two don’t stray far from the home and are ready to get it back as soon as possible. Quinto is known for small screen roles in shows like Heroes and also big screen blockbuster flicks like J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek.
Chad: With you, at this point? I’m bulletproof.

I really liked Francis Conroy’s character because I had missed not seeing her on tv since six feet under!

I love them all. They all helped make it a great first season! But I’m going with the ghost, Larry Harvey (Denis O’Hare). He really done a terrific (and standout job) with the ghost character I thought.

Zachary Quinto who plays Chad Warwick.
With out his character we wouldn’t have the infamous rubber suit. They changed the way the world now views that suit and created an amazing slow horrific scene for us to enjoy.

I loved Larry Harvey, what a pest he was to Ben Harmon. His character was annoying but still funny.

I have to go with Chad Warwick as my favorite, although that might have to do with me being a big fan of Zachary’s

I really loved this show and am glad it’s back. I thought Jessica Lange was a standout but my fave was Denis O’Hare as Larry. He is really a fine actor and has been in so many great shows/movies. I make an effort to look for him and know that anything he will be in will be better because of his acting. I have tried to not read spoilers of the next season so I don’t know if he’s coming back to the show but whatever he does next, I will watch.

I do not have one particular favorite character from Season 1, so, for the sake of answering the question, I will select Larry Harvey (Denis O’Hare)

I haven’t seen the show other than clips of it during the Emmy show, so I don’t have a favorite character … yet
