I love that scene when they jumped out of the hotel room onto a mattress that got tossed into the pool. I think that’s a good thing to know in case there’s ever a hotel fire and I need to jump out of my room without the help of firemen.

Hard to pick one, but let’s go with the one just on: the fake death scene from Shot in the Dark. For once we get to see our gang do something funny and see them enjoy themselves while doing it.

Hi Alix!
I love any time someone is caught eating Michael’s precious yogurts without his permission.

One that jumps out at me is when Michael is bandaging Fi’s arm and she tries to punch him afterwards and he catches her arm the first time. But then after a minute (waiting till he’s not paying attention) she socks him right in the face (deservedly so!).

I love the car chase scene when Michael and Victor were trying to escape Carla’s people. Michael had Fi blowing up cars along the route, and Victor asks Michael, “Where did you meet her?”. I love that line

I like the one where Michael jet-skies over the shark. Historic, it was.

I have loved any scene with michael and his brother. They have a great dynamic together!!

I enjoyed the scene where Michael pretends to be a prisoner to gain the trust of his captive criminal to find out the location of the hostages. Manipulation is always fun!

I loved the scene where we see Fiona’s snowglobe collection — I love snowglobes and thought this was an interesting quirk to add to her character and made her seem a little softer.
I also really like the boat thief kind of episode where Michael’s all southern with his cap and all that …

My favorite scene was when Michael wanted to prevent the break-in that he was forced to partner-up for, so he greased the rail so that the free-climb expert wouldn’t be able to get a handhold.

The scenes where Sam did his best David Caruso impression. “Looks like murder… is in style this season.”

I loved the scene in Cocowalk where Michael and Fi are doing surveillance on the kidnapper. You know, where they flirt while checking out the landscape. Hard Bargain. Great scene!
posted on June 7th, 2010 at 3:12 pm
Personally, my favorite is from the first season when Sam is captured and he flashes a hand symbol while they take a “proof of life” picture. Even captured, he’s trying to protect his friends (and he’s being awesome).

I have many, many favorite scenes. The one that makes me LOL is where Maddy “interrogates” the prisoner Sam and Fiona had brought to her house and hands the information to them while they’re still arguing about what to do to him.

The entire four years obviously, but more exactly, I love Michael’s redneck accent. And ANY TIME SAM IS ON SCREEN!!! Oh oh oh and when Michael’s burns all the money in Season 1 while helping Sam’s ex-SEAL friend. VERY cool!

There are so many scenes, but my favorites always involve the exploration of Michael and Fi’s relationship. One that stands out is the episode when it’s Fiona’s birthday and she keeps bringing it up to ensure that Michael doesn’t forget it… and in the closing scene he brings out the Makarov gun she had been admiring earlier in the episode. The sentiment underlying that scene was fantastic, and echoed later in the snowglobe episode when he buys her a new one after breaking one earlier in the ep.

My favorite scene is the extraction of Sam from the cargo ship where he’s being held hostage – awesome action!

My fave’s the Season 3 episode “Friendly Fire” when Michael gets Omar’s van with some help from Fiona – and rubber bullets.

I loved the episode where Michael was looking for the child molester and when he snapped his fingers, things would blow up!! A very cool effect!!

my favorite is actually from the season 4 opener at the end when Michael’s mom reassures him and the look on Michael’s face just before she gets up to hug him. The vulnerability was excruitiatingly [is that a word?] tender.
posted on June 7th, 2010 at 3:18 pm
Favorite scene right now has to be from Season 3, in Friendly Fire when Michael makes his entrance to Omar in the liquor store, the finger snap was priceless, he came off as completely unstoppable in that character.
posted on June 7th, 2010 at 3:20 pm
I love the scene from this season’s premiere when Michael has a heart-to-heart talk with his mom (finally!).
I also liked the finale from before that when the cop is trying to get information out of her and says that Michael tried to kill him. She replies that if he had done that, he would be dead.
Her scenes with Tyne Daly were awesome as well.
LOVE Sharon Gless!!

I liked the time that Fiona’s brother figured out that Michael is not Irish…And told Michael to take care of her.

When michael and fiona get the matching daggers that say destiny on them

I love two scenes in Friendly Fire. The first scene where Michael is on the balcony with Fi. So hot! And the last scene where Michael and Fi end up in bed!
posted on June 7th, 2010 at 3:27 pm
I loved it when Fi took Michael aside to welcome him home appropriately, kissed him passionately, then smacked with with just as much passion!!

Hands down, my favorite scene in the series is in “Long Way Back,” at Strickler’s place. “Fiona is not my past!” BANG BANG, Strickler is dead–and Michael has FINALLY admitted he wants Fiona in his life.

I love the scene where Michael and Fi reunite in season 2′s Hot Spot. Their chemistry is so great, and the episode shows how much Michael still cares about Fi.
posted on June 7th, 2010 at 3:53 pm
I love the scene in Broken Rules when Fi is supposed to be acting as a helpless victim of Michael’s purse-snatching, and she keeps punching him in the face, until he’s like, “Sell it, Fi!” at which point she shrieks. That totally sums up their relationship over the course of season 1.

When Michael says Fiona is not my past and shoots
posted on June 7th, 2010 at 4:04 pm
My favorite moment from all of the Burn Notice seasons thus far has to be the sparring session between Fi and Michael. There’s just something so sexy about how he caught her fists behind her back and took the opportunity to kiss her!

The scene where Michael successfully foils the attempt of the freehand climber to get into the building by using lubricant to slick up the bars.
posted on June 7th, 2010 at 4:09 pm
My favorite scene still has to be just after Victor has shot himself. Michael’s face shows his true conflicted dilemma is so painfully. It shows his steel core, and his compassionate side along with the difficulty he has in reconciling honor against the necessary “face” of being a spy. It just rips me up every time I see it. That was an Emmy moment, that was.

Michael’s wink at the end of Shot in the Dark, on top of the hilarity that was his, Sam’s, and Fiona’s “deaths” and reappearances just previously. I couldn’t stop laughing for a solid couple minutes!
posted on June 7th, 2010 at 4:17 pm
I love the scene where Michael comes to Maddie’s to try to tell her he “fixed” things so her new friend (Tyne Daly) wouldn’t lose her job. She accuses him of taking a job and dragging her into it and he slams his hand on the table and yells ” you think I do this for the money?” Maddy, “yes…no….I don’t know why you do it.” “People need me”, he says, “so I have to.” As he explains to her that “someone” broke into the County Records building and no one will know her friend did anything wrong, to watch Maddy’s face when she realizes that Michael made it right is wonderful. Very powerful scene! A great testiment to the talent of both Jeffrey and Sharon!

One of my favorite moments from Burn Notice is the scene where Michael dressed up as Diablo and did his ‘disappearing’ act in the convenience store with the Mexican gang. That whole episode was fantastic! So well written! Kudos to the writers on that episode.

Favorite scene: Sam & Michael leave Madeline (who has brought soup to Fi) to stay w/her while they finish up a job…Michael starts to explain why they have to leave… and Madeline tosses a “whatever” over her shoulder and never looks up. Classic.

I like episode 3 when Michael slap Fiona, she turns to him & say” I am not one of Your Dam Client. powerful episode Friendly Fire.

my fave burn notice moment was Sam doing the CSI Sunglasses swipe Yeeeeeeeeeah!
It caught me of notice but when he put the sunglasses on I literally stood up and cheered
Bruce Campbell is the man and there’s no one better I can think of to send up tv’s number 1 one liner offender than the man whose video games have a one-liner button

Definitely the end of Strickler, really defined him as a character – really cares about doing The Right Thing and will not abide anyone who tries to make him do otherwise.

At the end of episode 2.15 Sins of Omission. Mike and Fi are talking about Sam the ex-fiancée. Michael tells Fiona how she knew a part of him Sam never did. And how he left her because you don’t marry someone when you love someone else.

I liked the season opener on Thursday when Michael came in to Fiona’s home and she was packing the guns for the “work” she was doing. The big hug and happy to see him, and then a few seconds later, the slap across the face. Priceless. I love the chemisty between those two.

As much as I loved seeing Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless back together again last season, my favorite episode was the one that took place in the Everglades. Love the SoFl settings.

I love the part that Michael helps Carla finish the crossword puzzle. A few seconds later she calls him and thanks him for the help, but by the time he realizes she is gone!

I think my favorite scene would have to be actually the scene that got me truly addicted. It was in Long Way Back when Michael was trying to find Fiona and was yelling at Strickler in a panic.
“Why don’t you just do yourself a favor and forget the past?”
“Fiona is not my past.”
I go into a tizzy every time. SO powerful!

One of my many favorite moments is in Rough Seas when Michael is Jackson the chemistry nerd. Only Michael Westen, a hot buff spy, could find a way to pass as a nerdy chemist.

I think the best scene is in the very first episode of Burn Notice, where Michael is “getting rid of” Sugar as he describes everything he needs at the tool shop and the best uses of duct tape and ordinary tools. And then proceeds to shoot Sugar and wound him and instead of coming through the front door breaks in from the back. Plus you have to give the very first episode of Burn Notice the best because it gave us a great show to watch!

My favorite–EVER–is the episode when the gang teams up to run the bad guys out of town and they wear uniforms and light the bad guys’ bar on fire. Michael: “Your bar’s on fire.” Classic!

I love Seymour and his “man crush” on Michael. Love the seen where Michael takes Seymour’s gun from him and instead of getting mad Seymour wants Michael to show him “his cool moves” and offers him a mango smoothie.

Without a doubt, when Michael was “working” with that terrorist handler who told Michael that Fiona was part of his past.
Michael just spun around and shot him dead right there. That was something we hadn’t really ever seen him do before. It was awesome, and showed just how much he cares about Fiona.

Fav moment or scene? Fiona is baby sitting the client (a little boy whose step father is out the get his mom I believe), and they’re playing little green Army men. Fiona starts rattling off each weapon each soldier has and where they should be positioned for an effective ambush. Flame throw, Thompson submachine gun, 50 cal, M-1, etc.
NOT what the kid expected… Love the show.
Maybe a Yogurt company will step up, along with a stable automobile company to blatantly advertise.

the scene where he jumps off his balcony b/c his loft is about to blow up and then the following scene in the premiere a few months later where sam is saving him. it stands out as a great scene b/c it reminds me that michael is human and also b/c explosions are fun… lol!

Sam is the best sidekick of all time… My friends and I always paraphrase “you know spies, a bunch of bitchy little girls” all the time. And of course, being from Detroit, I enjoy all of the car chase scenes with the classic GM cars…

I’m still working my way through season 2, but I LOVED the fist fight between Michael and Sam during “Do No Harm.” Bruce Campbell is totally badass and it was lovely to see that he cares enough about Michael to get punched in the face by him

It’s truly impossible to find one scene or episode that stands out more then the other. Every single episode has it’s own “thing” that makes it the show that all others strive to be. Michael & Fi’s disfunctional relationship which is sweet and tender one minute and incredibly explosive (and so hot) the next. Sam being there for comic relief and to do exactly what a best buddy is supposed to do and be. And Maddie, well she’s just the icing on the cake. Is it any wonder that I and so many others love this show?

So many great moments! I think what always stands out to me is the ep where Michael helps out a mom and her son, who was heading down the wrong road himself. The final scene, where the two of them are leaning against the car, and the kid is trying to “be like” Michael is so touching. Michael had such a difficult childhood, and is only doing the best he can with what he was dealt, yet even as the hardened spy he is, he still has a soft heart and tries to reach out to be a better role model when someone is looking. Michael is so far from perfect, but somehow, to this one child, he’s good enough, and that’s just what a kid needs sometimes. Great insight and depth into Michael’s character.
