ADVANCE REVIEW: Season Premiere of How I Met Your Mother
September 21st, 2009 by thetvchick
I was thrilled when the premiere of How I Met Your Mother’s 5th season came in the mail. I think Barney Stinson (NPH, you are amazing!) is one of the best characters on television, but the entire cast is just incredible. One thing that makes this show unique is that I can’t think of a bad episode. It is always funny, always heartwarming, and I am never disappointed.
The season premiere (titled Definitions) centers around Barney and Robin defining their relationship. When we last left them they were well…making out. And when we join them again they are still making out. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the premiere was great. Ted becomes a professor of architecture at Columbia! And I love Barney with Robin (even though I never thought I would say that). I love that the gang is back at MacLarens again. The only thing I hate is waiting a week in between episodes.
HIMYM premieres tonight at 8 pm on CBS. It’s going to be legend…wait for it…(it’s at a new time) dary!
