Former LOST EPs Eddy Kitis and Adam Horowitz write about fairytales for a living, but the duo themselves might as well be considered a fairytale of their own. Case in point: their drama Once Upon A Time not only shattered ratings last season, it also became one of the most popular new shows of the season. And as we head into the second season, it’s also a series that fans are eagerly anticipating its return.

That’s not surprising, considering the show left off with Emma embracing her fairytale destiny as Regina’s curse was shattered, which in turn left all the residents of Storybrooke remembering their true identities – while a thick cloud of mysterious purple smoke became a new threat all together. True to form, Kitsis and Horowitz were tight lipped when pressed about second season secrets at Comic Con, but they did let a few interesting details slip.
