PALEYFEST: Top 10 Moments From Castle
March 12th, 2012 by Sarah Maines
Nathan Fillion & company stopped by PaleyFest on Friday, March 9th to screen a new episode for fans and chat about the show and most importantly, Castle/Beckett. Before the panel, Creator Andrew Marlowe introduced a screening of the March 19th episode, “A Dance with Death”, which follows in the Castle tradition of vaguely spoofing other ABC shows. This time it’s Dancing with the Stars.
Here are my picks for the top 10 moments of the panel:
10. “I don’t want my last words to be ‘Oh God, oh God, I shouldn’t have gotten this close to a tiger! It’s eating my face! My beautiful, beautiful face” – Nathan Fillion on adding Tigers to the list of ways he doesn’t want to die.
9. Adam Baldwin is guest starring and Nathan revealed his character’s name: Detective Slaughter.
8. Tamala Jones says that kissing Nathan Fillion was “like satin or something.”
7. Jon Huertas, Seamus Dever did a live reenactment of the scene in “The Blue Butterfly” where they get to beat up Nathan.
6. Shameless plug for the fourth Nikki Heat book cover art.
5. Tamala opened the panel with a live performance of the song she sang in “The Blue Butterfly.”
4. We’re going to find out more about Castle’s father in future episodes.
3. The cast did a live reading of a few scenes from “The Blue Butterfly.”
2. “As you guys know, this season has been one of secrets. Castle and Beckett are both keeping pretty significant ones from each other and as we head into the season’s last batch of episodes they start to come out” – Andrew Marlowe on the “season of secrets.”
1. Stana Katic is a Castle/Beckett ‘shipper and is ready for them to get together!
