Tomorrow night is the big prequel Halloween episode of Pretty Little Liars. I have been missing this show on my weekly TV lineup, so I am very excited it’s back. I will post an Advance Review tomorrow, but I will say that the episode is fantastic. I think Alison is such a critical part of the story and I have been wanting an entire prequel episode for a while. The Halloween episode delivers in a big way. It’s dramatic, scary and answers a lot of questions. I recently had the chance to talk to Sasha Pieterse (who plays Alison) about the episode, what we are going to learn about Ali that we didn’t know before, and that pesky A.

The show is called Pretty Little Liars, not “Pretty Little Parents” as Chad Lowe pointed out to the press visiting the set of Pretty Little Liars last week, but that’s not to say that the parents don’t have their own big storylines. The Montgomery household is going through a lot lately, with Mike breaking into houses and all depressed and Aria dating a former teacher behind her parents’ backs. Chad Lowe (who plays Byron) talked about Byron’s past (including the affair which will play a more prominent role in the Halloween flashback episode), directing an episode and that pesky A.

Tonight’s the night! The big mid-season finale of Pretty Little Liars is sure to leave us wanting more. There will be questions answered but like any good drama, there will be more questions left unanswered. One of my favorite storylines of the show is the relationship between Aria and Ezra. The mid-season finale of Pretty Little Liars is going to put each girl to a specific task. My guess is that life and death is in their hands seeing as the therapist was kidnapped last week. In the midst of this whole mess, Hanna’s dad is getting married and she has to deal with the wrath of Kate (and her conniving ways). How is Hanna going to come to terms with her evil stepsister and her dad’s marriage? I recently caught up with the cast of Pretty Little Liars on set, and Ashley Benson (Hanna) talked about tomorrow’s big episode, Hanna/Caleb and where Lucas factors in and the wedding coming up.

The big mid-season finale of Pretty Little Liars is this Tuesday and I hear it’s going to be a big one. Recently, Caleb left to go find his birth mother, leaving a sad, emotional Hanna behind. Caleb returns to Rosewood this week to find the whole mess with Hanna’s family and her soon-to-be stepsister and he has something to say about it. Pretty Little Liars has always been a show with high stakes. As the mid-season comes to a close, there are a lot of questions to be answered and probably new ways that A is going to torture the girls. As a big “Ezria” fan, I am wondering what will come of their relationship now that several people know about it. I’ve never trusted Jackie and especially not creepy Jason and they both could blackmail Aria and Ezra with their knowledge. I recently had the chance to catch up with the cast on the set of Pretty Little Liars, and Ian Harding (who plays Ezra) had a lot to say about the “Ezria” relationship. He previewed the big mid-season finale, talked about what Ezra would do if he found out about A and much more.

Pretty Little Liars has had a pretty crazy and amazing second season. It is about to wrap up the first half with its mid-season finale next week, and I can’t wait. I recently had the chance to catch up with the cast on set, and they had some very interesting things to say about next week’s episode. Shay Mitchell (who plays Emily) and Troian Bellisario (who plays Spencer) discuss how A is going to challenge the girls in the mid-season finale, the big prequel Halloween episode and their characters’ respective relationships. I also chatted with Shay a bit after (not on video) and she talked about where she wants to see her character go after the mid-season finale, Emily’s girlfriends and what character she’d like to play in an alternate universe.

Last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars focused a lot on Alison but without any flashbacks. We learn that she hid a lot, we learn that Jason probably has more to hide, and that her murder was not a cut and dry case. We already knew that last part but it turns out Jason, Garrett and Ian were in some sort of crazy club in high school. What I really enjoyed in this episode was how strong the girls’ bond has become and a few key confrontations and decisions that were made. Now if only that A would make him or herself known.

Last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars “Save the Date” was quite intense. The girls took a trip to the morgue to try and figure out Ali’s death, Em has quite a physical/health set back and we learn more about shady Garrett and creepy Jenna and what they might be hiding. And I forgot to mention that “Ezria” fans like me were a tad disappointed by this episode, and especially by the preview for the next episode, but I have faith that they will be together in the end. This episode felt to me like people were trying to get closure — Hanna’s parents for sure (more on that later) and the girls about Ali’s death. But one thing is for sure, this season is certainly ramping up to something big.
