GIVEAWAY: Suits Prize Pack – CLOSED

January 15th, 2013

suits-winter-premiere-picSuits returns on Thursday night, and if you haven’t watched this fantastic show yet, it’s not too late to start. You can watch all 22 episodes online, On Demand or on Hulu to get caught up before the premiere. Here’s the link to watch the episodes. But I digress. The premiere is fantastic and sets up some very interesting stories for the season. How will the firm look now that Hardman’s gone? Will Mike and Rachel get it together finally? And what about Louis and his traitorous ways? Here’s some info about where we left off (it’s been a while, I know): As the summer season finale concluded, Harvey and Mike were able to make their toughest close yet –Harvey’s arch rival, Louis Litt – whose vote put Jessica back on top. After having lost her job to protect him, Harvey’s no-nonsense assistant Donna Paulsen is reinstated in her rightful place outside of his office. Mike, still reeling from the devastating loss of his grandmother, makes an emotional decision with a girl from his past that puts his relationship with the firm’s savviest paralegal Rachel Zane in jeopardy. Keep reading to see how you can win a Suits prize pack.

INTERVIEW: Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson) from Suits

August 2nd, 2012

Suits - Season 2

Suits has had a stellar season so far. Harvey is being sued for fraud, Donna just got fired because she’s kind of the reason he got sued and the big bosses are fighting it out. Is Hardman a good guy or a bad guy? Is Louis going to finally redeem himself? And what about Jessica? With her firm and job on the line, she’s going to do anything to keep Harvey reigned in, Hardman at bay and the firm afloat. I recently had the chance to chat with Gina Torres (who plays Jessica) about what’s coming up, the decision to fire Donna and when we might learn about her personal life. And for all the Firefly fans out there, I asked her about the Comic Con panel that she wasn’t able to attend.

INTERVIEW: Sarah Rafferty (Donna) from Suits

I am obsessed with Suits. It is so incredibly clever and well-written and such great summer fun. This season has ramped up the drama with Mike being in danger of losing his job (because of that whole didn’t go to Harvard Law thing) and his relationship with Rachel is maybe finished before it even started. One of the big bright spots of this season has been Donna. She has a bigger role this season and her budding friendship with Rachel is fantastic. I recently had the chance to chat with Sarah Rafferty (who plays Donna) about what’s coming up this season, what Donna was before she started at the law firm and an upcoming flashback episode.

Suits returns Thursday night to USA Network at 10 PM, and I cannot wait. The premiere episode focuses on trust — can Harvey and Mike trust each other? What about evil Louis? And Jessica? There are some very interesting developments with the partner (Hardman) who might come back and Harvey goes to bat for Mike in a very big way. Suits is such a brilliantly written show. I am constantly impressed by how clever and fun it is. So I’m excited to offer this great giveaway that highlights the new partnership between the show and classy online retailer Mr. Porter. Keep reading to see how you can enter to win!

Q&A: Gabriel Macht (Harvey) from Suits

September 8th, 2011

Suits was one of the biggest surprises of the summer season for me. I checked it out because I love USA Network and I’m willing to give all of their shows a try, but I was absolutely blown away. The writing is fantastic and tight, and it truly breaks the procedural mold. But what makes this show absolutely stand out from the pack is the chemistry between the two leads — Harvey Spector (played by Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (played by Patrick Adams). I recently had the chance to speak with Gabriel Macht on a media call and he previewed the big season finale, talked about Harvey’s emotions (or lack thereof) and motivations and Chi McBride’s role in the season finale.

Doug Liman is best known for directing and producing such movies as “The Bourne Identity” and “Swingers.” However, more recently, he has made the transition into television with the USA Network CIA drama “Covert Affairs.” This week, his new show “Suits” premieres on the same network. The show centers around a hot-shot lawyer who hires a young whip-smart kid who didn’t pass the bar. I recently had the chance to chat with Liman on a media call about the new show as well as some Covert Affairs intel as well.
