After last week’s crazy, action-packed Pretty Little Liars, there were a lot of questions unanswered. Last night, we found out that Lucas is alive (I had a feeling) and he’s not A or working with A. Although in my opinion, things are never as they seem in Rosewood, so we don’t know if perhaps he was working for A at some point in a sort of round about way that he didn’t know about. Also, the new guy is back. At first, I was all against Holden because I don’t like things getting in the way or Aria and Ezra, but perhaps he’s not so bad after all? “Let the Water Hold Me Down” kept up the momentum of this pretty great second half of the season.

Last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars, “A Hot Piece of A,” had some very interesting clues as to who A might be. Or in my opinion, who A might be working with. It also was a bit of a heartbreaking episode for those rooting for a certain former teacher/former student relationship. There was also still some leftover tension with the girls from their fake fighting extravaganza. It was a great episode though, even if it was a little sad.

I am so happy Pretty Little Liars is back on TV. After last week’s stellar mid-season premiere, I am excited to see where the season goes. What are the girls going to do with A’s cell phone? When will we find out who A is? And what about all the romantic relationships that keep getting affected by A? I recently had the chance to chat with Troian Bellisario (who plays Spencer) about the upcoming season, the Spencer/Toby relationship and Spencer’s confrontation with Garrett in the premiere.

Pretty Little Liars is finally back and it feels like its been so long! Tonight’s big midseason premiere is nothing short of amazing. The girls get the closest they’ve ever gotten to ‘A’ and they obtain an item of A’s that is crucial to figuring out his/her identity. The episode starts off with the girls not exactly getting along. There’s an epic fight, which was pretty entertaining to watch. But at first, I had to rack my brain as to why they all might be fighting (and shunning Emily). I even went as far as reading my review of the finale, and then I realized, they weren’t previously fighting. So why now? Well, in the middle of the episode it all gets explained, and it’s a pretty fun twist. I won’t spoil it for you, though.

Pretty Little Liars returns SO soon and in the second half of the season, we are going to learn A’s real identity. I can’t wait! But as with everything in Rosewood, things are not always so simple. Could there be more than one A? I recently had the chance to text with that pesky bitch and so did a bunch of other journalists. We got to ask her some questions and we learned some very interesting information. A has gone to Rosewood High, is a familiar face in Rosewood and may be torturing more than just the girls soon. Tonight’s episode of Pretty Little Liars is a prequel. It’s a full hour where Alison is alive, where Jenna can see and where the girls are ruling the school. I couldn’t get enough of this flashback episode, and to be honest, I hope they do another one. “The First Secret” takes place on Halloween, and the girls gear up for Noel Kahn’s big party. Before the party, Alison meets new girl Jenna, who seems like she might have been the first girl to ever challenge Ali. Ali is still up to her manipulative and mean girl ways, but in this prequel, we learn there’s a lot more to Ali than we knew.

Pretty Little Liars has had a pretty crazy and amazing second season. It is about to wrap up the first half with its mid-season finale next week, and I can’t wait. I recently had the chance to catch up with the cast on set, and they had some very interesting things to say about next week’s episode. Shay Mitchell (who plays Emily) and Troian Bellisario (who plays Spencer) discuss how A is going to challenge the girls in the mid-season finale, the big prequel Halloween episode and their characters’ respective relationships. I also chatted with Shay a bit after (not on video) and she talked about where she wants to see her character go after the mid-season finale, Emily’s girlfriends and what character she’d like to play in an alternate universe.

Last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars focused a lot on Alison but without any flashbacks. We learn that she hid a lot, we learn that Jason probably has more to hide, and that her murder was not a cut and dry case. We already knew that last part but it turns out Jason, Garrett and Ian were in some sort of crazy club in high school. What I really enjoyed in this episode was how strong the girls’ bond has become and a few key confrontations and decisions that were made. Now if only that A would make him or herself known.

Last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars “Save the Date” was quite intense. The girls took a trip to the morgue to try and figure out Ali’s death, Em has quite a physical/health set back and we learn more about shady Garrett and creepy Jenna and what they might be hiding. And I forgot to mention that “Ezria” fans like me were a tad disappointed by this episode, and especially by the preview for the next episode, but I have faith that they will be together in the end. This episode felt to me like people were trying to get closure — Hanna’s parents for sure (more on that later) and the girls about Ali’s death. But one thing is for sure, this season is certainly ramping up to something big.
