My favorite guilty pleasure show is back!! CBS has just announced the 13 house guests from Big Brother Season 12, and I’m pretty excited for the premiere on July 8th! Check it out:

• Lane Elenburg, 24, Oil Rig Salesman
• Ragan Fox, 34, College Professor
• Andrew Gordon, 39, Podiatrist
• Britney Haynes, 22, Hotel Sales Manager
• Kathy Hillis, 40, Deputy Sheriff
• Matt Hoffman, 32, Web Designer
• Hayden Moss, 24, College Student
• Enzo Palumbo, 32, Insurance Adjuster
• Rachel Reilly, 26, Chemistry Graduate Student/VIP Cocktail Waitress (Interesting combination of jobs!)
• Monet Stunson, 24, Model
• Brandon Villegas, 30, High School Swim Coach (I’m assuming his nickname will be self explanatory)
• Annie Whittington, 27, Bartender
• Kristin Bitting, 24, Shoe Boutique Manager

There’s also a really big twist. CBS says “For the first time in the history of the series, one contestant will not be playing to win the half million dollar prize.  Instead, this Houseguest will play the role of the Big Brother Saboteur, whose sole mission will be to disrupt the lives of their fellow Houseguests.” They sort of did something similar with America’s Choice player and I’m okay with twists as long as it doesn’t get terribly disruptive. Without seeing any of them on TV, if I had to pick an early favorite, I’d say Kristin, Annie or Brandon. I will make my actual speculation once the show premieres but I have been fairly good at picking winners from the beginning.

The theme of the Big Brother House this year is “Playground by the Shore.” I enjoy ocean themes, so this will be fun. They are also doing the have/have not room which I didn’t think added too much to the show last year but it will be hilarious and dramatic as always. Whatever the case may be, I’m sure it will be a summer full of drama, showmance and that gross Big Brother slop.
